         The selection of our representatives to elective office has far reaching effects on the quality of our daily lives. These are the people who we empower to speak for us. We encourage voters to make intelligent choices, by carefully evaluating candidates qualifications, experience and values. One of the factors which gives strength to democracy is the openness of government allowing citizen oversight and participation.

        We appreciate the challenges faced by rural elected officials who must deal with complex issues and technicalities often with limited resources.
