MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Most information on The GrassRoots Network and the associated HomeTown Information Centers is freely available for public view. Registration is required to participate in certain features, including the capability to post information to the site (directories, discussion groups, classified ads, bulletin board postings, community calendar, etc).
Home Town Information Centers serve as a central online resource for the entire community. Residents, businesses, municipalities, and service organizations in 'participating communities' are eligible for registration.
Membership is Free. This site is supported through local business advertising. Please support our local businesses.

Individual Membership - Individual membership has 3 sub-categories to enable the provision of special features and benefits. Membership is free and can be completed online.
Resident Member - As Residents of a specific HomeTown Information Center members may participate in features limited only to their community (polls, surveys, etc.)
Alumnae Membership - Former residents who maintain an interest in the area may join their local HomeTIC and continue to contribute and keep up to date on community activities.
Associate Membership - Associates are non residents who maintain an interest in the area, such as those who work or do business here.
Service Organization Membership - Service organizations includes private or non-profit groups whose primary mission is to benefit the community. Participating service organizations are eligible for free services on the network, and have the option to utilize additional custom web services through contract or by taking advantage of our business sponsorship program. In the "Business Sponsorship Program, organizations are matched with business who are willing to sponsor the organizations web page. In return the sponsor is recognized for their contribution in a small banner ad that appears on the organizations site.

Municipal Membership - Local governments may choose to be participants in the GrassRoots Network. We offer many tools to help municipalities perform administrative tasks and constituents services. We will work with you to develop a custom website to keep the community informed, and involved. Custom website costs vary depending on services and features desired. Membership is free and includes the following benefits.
Business Membership - Businesses membership is free and includes the following benefits.
